i should know better than to whine about nobody blogging about me at spx: for here is a brief but squee-worthy mention in none other than top shelf publisher brett warnock's recommended-books-of-spx list.brett is a real stand-up guy, & he always wrote me the nicest rejection letters out of anyone.for karmic balance, maybe i should write up what we bought at the show (in no particular order):

well, i'm seeing spx reduxes all over, & i know i'm not usually very good at doing follow-ups to cons & events i've done, but here's my very limited impression.

jeez. off to spx in a few hours, i can't believe it. today has been so crazy, especially since, having totally wonked out my sleeping to try to finish the essay, my short-term memory is shot, & this whole week was pretty much one day for me.but i finished it! & my sainted printer got me a hundred beautiful copies of it in literally five hours.
